MN07 BY MAIDEN NOIR ‘THE HIPPIE APOCALYPSE’

unnamed-1
MN07 by Maiden Noir delivery two is now available in selected UK store and through stockist worldwide.
The Spring/Summer 15' collection titled ‘The Hippie Apocalypse’ takes its influence from the cult Detroit art anti-rock band Destroy All Monster (DAM).  DAM initially lasted from 1973-78 with original members Mike Kelley, Jim Shaw, Niagara, Cary Loren and later joined by several members from The Stooges and MC5. The band was a departure from the free spirited hippie haze and found influences within Sun RA, Velvet Underground and ESP-Disk.  The Hippie Apocalypse is our view into this transition era moving into futurism.MN07_SUMMER_JOURNAL_HEADER_2000_1245_80unnamedunnamed-2unnamed-3

BLK Pine Workshop / LA Push

Print
La Push is in the north-most point of Washington's Pacific Coast beaches. It is situated at the mouth of the Quillayute River located at the northern edge of the Quileute Indian Reservation. Just south of the village of La Push are three Olympic Coast inlets and perfect outdoor getaways for cold water surfing, hiking, and camping. The beach, called First Beach, is a wide, crescent shaped, sandy beach with sea stacks between the beach and the western horizon. During migration, whales can be seen from the beach.
In our Spring thru late Fall adventures to this magical place, we often have one our BLK PINE - single guage beanies on hand. Ready to wear after a surf session, as a night cap to keep warm for over night camping, during an evening stroll or fireside hangout along the breezy beaches.PrintPrintPrintPrintPrint

Blk Pine Workshop - Road to Ethiopia

6.26.14a

Blk Pine Workshop recently collaborated with the amazing Seattle based coffee roaster 'Caffe Vita', here is the awesome story of the project as told by Blk Pine Workshop -
To celebrate CaffĂ© Vita 20 year anniversary as an independent coffee roaster here Seattle, we developed a Travel Pack that would handle a basic city commute to work, but also allow a world traveler to take this bag out on the road and get it a little dusty. For this trip CaffĂ© Vita captured their green bean buyer Daniel on the road to Ethiopia last year with one of our bags.
"Every trip to this incredible land deepens our appreciation for coffee. It permeates the fabric of society and touches the hands of so many, treated with respect and admiration. In no other country can one pull over to the side of the road, just about anywhere, to a tantalizing ‘jebena bunna’ – traditional cup of coffee; freshly roasted and prepared with pride."
- Daniel Shewmaker, Green Coffee Buyer, in Ethiopia with the Travel Pack.
Read more about the road to Ethiopia here.

The Travel Pack features include 18 oz. duck canvas – 100% cotton, nylon handle, canvas webbing and adjustable nylon straps, interior sleeve pocket, Vita travel mug sleeve, metal snap buttons and strap adjusters.6.26.14h
