The Quiet Life fall 2015 collection has just been released through Quiet Life stockists globally and through the Quiet Life online store. Consisting of several new cut and sew styles, such as, the Trail Windbreaker jacket, Middle of Nowhere satin bomber jacket, Contrast Windy pullover, Climber pull over. Also in the Fall 15 collection are several new art and graphic design prints on t shirts, long sleeve t shirts and fleece. And on top of all that are The Quiet Life's signature hat collection consisting of new 5 panel hats, polo hats, hybrid hats and snapback hats.

With in the new Quiet Life Fall 15 collection are several mini capsules, one of the stand out capsules is the Peony Liberty London capsule. The Peony Liberty London capsule is made up of several cut and sew styles and hats, using the unique Peony fabric from the globally renowned fabric supplier and boutique store, Liberty London. There is the Peony Oxford long sleeve button shirt, Peony zip up hood, Peony long sleeve t shirt, Peony pocket t shirt, Peony 5 panel hat and Peony bucket hat.

Quiet Life - Painted Dots pack

The Quiet Life recently released the first of their new limited Summer capsule's, called the 'Painted Dots' pack. Consisting of rare and hard to find dead stock fabric, tailored into a woven button down shirt, beach short, cut and sew premium t shirt and polo cap. The Quiet Life VACATION Pack release

The Quiet Life recently released the new Summer Vacation Pack release, a limited exclusive release consisting of fresh hat and graphic designs. Including new 5 panel hats, 6 panel polo hats, snapback hats, relaxed snapback hats, mesh trucker hats, dead stock fabric hats. Also including new illustration and graphic printed long sleeve and short sleeve t shirts, and the new long sleeve zip hooded beach top.

  

Inspiration for the Quiet Life Vacation pack release was taken from the memories of long hot summers as a kid. Heading out first thing in the morning to go hang out with your friends, skating or surfing all day, talking about girls, figuring out where you can score beer from, listening to music and generally terrorizing the neighborhood, then hitting a house party up until late.

Pastel colours and brighter summer colours with a hint of the west coast vibe took president for the over all colour palette.  

Along side some classic Quiet Life graphics and logos, there were some exclusive illustrations and art work from artists who took part in the annual Quiet Life Instagram Art and Illustration competition. We launched the art, illustration, design and graphic contest through our social media blogs. Saw hundreds of entrants, and then whittled them down to the top ten.

We where overwhelmed with the amount of entries we received online for the contest, and decided to run with two of the final designs for this collection. Linear Life designed by Mitch Chadban and Trenchcoat dog designed by Gabe Holzner. Both of their designs where printed on short sleeve and long sleeve t shirts. Providing the perfect graphics for a summer collection.

Along side the printed t shirts, long sleeve t shirts and long sleeve hooded zip through t shirt, was a fresh collection of hats. Consisting of polo hats, snapback hats, mesh trucker hats, relaxed fit snapback hats and 5 panel hats.

Mixing classic fabrics such as brushed cotton twill, Taslan and mesh fabrics. With embroidery, printed and applique designed logo branding.

There where also two excusive 5 panel hats designed and made with exclusive rare dead stock fabrics. The Rainbow 5 panel hat and the Floral 5 panel hat where both made with dead stock fabrics, meaning these fabrics are end of line stock and never to be produced again.

Travis Millard & Quiet Life release party

The Quiet Life joined forces with the Highland Park local gallery, Slow Culture, in Los Angeles, for the launch of the new Quiet Life and Travis Millard ‘Fudge Dwog’ art capsule collection. 

The event ran as both a pop up store for The Quiet Life x Travis Millard ‘Fudge Dwog’ artist capsule collection, and a mini art exhibition of the distinctive and fun art and illustration from Travis Millard.

Beer, Pizza and Ping Pong went down, along with the fine selection of clothing, hats and accessories from the collaboration collection.

  

The Quiet Life got together with long time QL guest artist and contributor Travis Millard for the creation of the Fudge Dwog capsule. Using Travis’s distinctive art and illustration to produce an amazing capsule collection.

Travis designed and illustrated the Fudge Dwog character for Quiet Life, loosely based around his dog. We then, here at The Quiet Life, created a clothing and accessory capsule collection around the Travis Millard Fudge Dwog art work.

The capsule collection consisted of, several unique cut and sew styles and of course several staple Quiet Life style hats.

Specifically designed, where the loop back French terry fleece Jackson crew sweat, woven short sleeve button up shirt, woven beach short, printed pocket t shirt, two 5 panel hats, trucker hat and a polo hat.

The look book for the Travis Millard collection was shot on location at Travis’s work space and studio in Echo Park Los Angeles, California.

The Quiet Life deliver their summer 15 release in stores globally. Bright summer colours are rife through this collection, bold block colours, mixed fabrics from Liberty London all make for a true summer feel.  

A perfect follow up from the earlier Spring release, the new Summer 2015 release contains some really strong key pieces and themes. New cut and sew styles in all over art work printed woven button down shirts and matching woven beach shorts, short sleeve loop back French terry fleece crew sweat, jogger shorts. Also new hats, including photo printed polo and 5 panel hats, bucket hats, snapback hats and relaxed snapback hats. 

The focus of this Summer 15 release was fun, outdoors, beach, music, festivals, good times. Mixing plenty of new fabrics in new cut and sew, graphic printed t shirts, tanks and of course all hat styles. Feature fabrics for this collection, included the Liberty London ‘Strawberry’ fabric, with a detailed floral, birds and strawberry illustration. We also used a bright and vibrant Hawaiian floral fabric, on key cut and sew and hat styles. And another classic Hawaiian floral fabric but this time reversed out in design and production, to give a more muted and tonal detailing. This time used on t shirt and tank details and a relaxed fit snapback hat.

Other new stand out styles where the all over Girls art work print used on a woven button up short sleeve shirt and matching beach short and 5 panel hats. Also the distinctive photography from Andy Mueller used as all over fabric detail on the Huntington polo hat and on a camera club t shirt.

MN07 BY MAIDEN NOIR ‘THE HIPPIE APOCALYPSE’

MN07 by Maiden Noir delivery two is now available in selected UK store and through stockist worldwide. 

The Spring/Summer 15' collection titled ‘The Hippie Apocalypse’ takes its influence from the cult Detroit art anti-rock band Destroy All Monster (DAM).  DAM initially lasted from 1973-78 with original members Mike Kelley, Jim Shaw, Niagara, Cary Loren and later joined by several members from The Stooges and MC5. The band was a departure from the free spirited hippie haze and found influences within Sun RA, Velvet Underground and ESP-Disk.  The Hippie Apocalypse is our view into this transition era moving into futurism.

Entrepreneurs Store - Lookbook SS15

The guys at Entrepreneurs store in Hanley Stoke, have been working super hard since they opened late last year. Setting a new standard of how retail spaces should be, combining clothing foot wear and accessories alongside original art work from local UK artists in their gallery space. Here we see their first outing in a look book scenario for their SS15 style picks available in their store and online.

Maiden Noir X Sneeze collection

Maiden Noir have partnered up with the raucous Sneeze mag for a super limited capsule collection - 'To follow up with our spring/summer 15' collection we worked with Vancouver/NYC based publication Sneeze for a small capsule collection of shirts and ball caps. The pieces offered combine the style, sensiblilty and aesthetic of Sneeze along with the Maiden Noir craftsmanship and quality. The shirts are refined yet casual with a smooth hand feel.  Made from a crisp Japanese poplin fabric.  Features include a tonal print 'Sneeze' logo, slightly boxier fit and ribbed collar.  The ball caps come in two colorways with an embroidred logo and adjustable leather strap.  Available exclusively this Friday, April 17th on our online shop and through Sneezemag.com.'
