BLK Pine Workshop / LA Push

La Push is in the north-most point of Washington's Pacific Coast beaches. It is situated at the mouth of the Quillayute River located at the northern edge of the Quileute Indian Reservation. Just south of the village of La Push are three Olympic Coast inlets and perfect outdoor getaways for cold water surfing, hiking, and camping. The beach, called First Beach, is a wide, crescent shaped, sandy beach with sea stacks between the beach and the western horizon. During migration, whales can be seen from the beach. 

In our Spring thru late Fall adventures to this magical place, we often have one our BLK PINE - single guage beanies on hand. Ready to wear after a surf session, as a night cap to keep warm for over night camping, during an evening stroll or fireside hangout along the breezy beaches.

ICNY feature Wish Atlanta

Wish in Atlanta have just put out a feature online of the new ICNY Rains commuter jacket. 'The new ICNY Fall/Winter 2014 collection comprised of new fabrics, styles, and design elements. Following the philosophy behind the Brooklyn-born brand to explore boundaries with fashion and function, aesthetics, and the evolution of true visibility.'

Quiet Life X Katsuo Design

Quiet Life have recently shot a new 'Studio Visit' look book with Katsuo Design, featuring the new collaboration capsule with Katsuo. Here are photos shot and words by Quiet Life director Andy Mueller -

Quiet Life is excited to announce the global release and pop-up event for their new "Jump On It" Capsule Collection with Japanese artist, illustrator, and long time friend Yusuke, of Katsuo Design. The Quiet Life and Katsuo Design are celebrating with a release party and pop up shop at The Slow Culture Gallery in Highland Park (Los Angeles) Thursday, October 30th from 7-10pm. Katsuo has put together a special installation of wooden sculptures & xerox posters for this event. The 19 piece collection features Katsuo’s curvy characters that are reminiscent of 60’s pop art adorned on custom woven shirts, tees, socks, bucket and 5-panel hats.

 Each season QL likes to invite one of their favorite photographers to do a Lookbook for us, but this season founder Andy Mueller shot the lookbook in Katsuo’s Chinatown (Los Angeles) studio. Mueller stated “I’ve been friends with Yusuke for over ten years, showing in art shows together all over the world. This marks the first time we have been able to collaborate directly, and I am excited to release this collection here in Los Angeles at the Slow Culture Gallery.“

StreetX of Western Australia recently teamed up with photographer Luke Clark to capture the 2014 ICNY Fall Collection through the evening city streets highlighting the high visibility reflectivity features of the accessories and apparel. 

Quiet Life Fall Drop 2 'Vasquez'

The Quiet Life recently released their new 'Vasquez' look book featuring key styles from the Fall drop 2 collection, including new cut and sew pieces alongside new graphic printed designs and as always their infamous hat collection consisting of 5 panel caps, snapback caps and bucket hats all using Liberty of London fabrics.

Grand Scheme Winter 14

Grand Scheme recently released their new Winter 14 collection to selected retailers across the UK. Including some key stand out styles such as the 3M reflective courier jacket, tech bonded fleece outer wear, cut and sew woven's and long sleeve shirts, custom cut and sew chinos and joggers. Alongside their extensive winter head wear collection.
