"In order to get to COMUNE everyday I must go through one of the most notorious streets in California…join me on my route. Los Angeles’ Skid Row has one of the largest stable populations of transient persons in the United States and I skate through it every day to get to work. As I travel to and from I have no recollection of the people occupying the streets, just the feeling that I’m traveling as fast as I can."
