I Love Ugly May release

Screen Shot 2013-05-14 at 10.46.47I Love Ugly come back with vengeance dropping their new May collection into selected stores across the UK. With a selection of new all over printed Frankie shirts, new Zepsy pant & Ralph colour ways, and an awesome pin up girls t shirt. Here is the collection description from I Love Ugly -
Inspiration for this collection came from a recent trip to Tokyo. We see Japan as a place that’s ahead of the curve when it comes to design and culture.
Vintage artwork with vibrant heritage prints such as the Japanese Tea Gardens of the Osaka Frankie Shirt have been the core elements of this range. We have specially sourced a Japenese Selvdege denim for our first offering of denim jeans. The artisanal Japanese production process of Selvedge denim makes for some of the finest denim in the world.
We have continued with the Japanese theme with lining in the duffles and tailored suits. Screen Shot 2013-05-14 at 10.45.39Screen Shot 2013-05-14 at 10.45.50Screen Shot 2013-05-14 at 10.46.06Screen Shot 2013-05-14 at 10.46.33Screen Shot 2013-05-14 at 10.46.59Screen Shot 2013-05-14 at 10.47.28Screen Shot 2013-05-14 at 10.48.15Screen Shot 2013-05-14 at 10.47.39Screen Shot 2013-05-14 at 10.48.28Screen Shot 2013-05-14 at 10.47.54Screen Shot 2013-05-14 at 10.48.53

COMUNE - Dinosaurs Will Die // Genovese and Mertz in Japan

COMUNE snowboarder Sean Genovese and COMUNE/Drop City contributor Alex Mertz were recently in Japan filming for the upcoming Dinosaurs Will Die snowboard film. Check out the photos from their trip!
It can be argued that Japan is the pinnacle of snowboard destination travel. Aside from world class snow conditions and unbelievable scenery in the mountains, there’s also the vast sprawling urban jungle filled with lights, shops, restaurants, and seedy haunts, off the tourist map. By the looks of these photos Geno and Mertz did it up right.
